Renderforest

We have been learning how to create animations using Renderforest. I really enjoyed being able to choose my slides. We are going to learn how to use different parts of Renderforest. Watch this space!

Geoboard

We have been looking at geometry this term and learning all about angles and shapes. We have been using geo boards to practise our learning. Take a look at my screencastify to learn about different types of angles.

Rotarota

For our writing this term we are learning how to create poems / rotarota or creative paragraphs. We get a new hook each day. Here are some of my pieces of writing. We are especially focusing on imagery and using our senses.

My Dream House

We have been learning how to design our dream house. My Dream house has 2 bedrooms , 1 Bathroom, 2 lounge, living room area and I have a computer room and a pool and spa area. The feature that I love about my house is the spa and pool.

We have had a visitor in rm3 called Matua Makaore. He has shared the story of Kupe me te Wheke ā Muturangi with us. We also learnt how to animate using google slides.

100 word challenge

WALT Using the picture as a prompt write 100 words telling me what has been going on

On the first day of 2019 a bunch of people came to Australia. They were all really colourful with bright red heads.I was thinking they were here for help but they started breaking everything . It was really loud it was like BANG BANG BANG! . We rang the army and they said “ We are on our way” so when they arrived the people had moved closer .They came     

rushing over to the army. The army got scared and left . So we were on our own so we went to battle them. We go some down but there were three left .

Kia Ora welcome to my blog. My name is Tia , I am a year 6  and my Teacher is Whaea Heather. I enjoy swimming , I like kittens and puppies , my favourite sports are swimming and netball . I play netball on the weekends . I go to hornby primary school , I have 1 sister and 2 brothers , I also speak Te Reo Maori . I hope you enjoy looking at my blog .
